Job summary

ARCH in Philadelphia is seeking a senior inspector to develop, validate, and troubleshoot PC-DMIS CMM programs for complex components and to support quality improvements. You will mentor junior inspectors, analyze inspection results, and ensure compliance with GD&T and medical-device quality standards.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, strong communication, and hands-on leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment with emphasis on ISO 13485, FDA/QMSR, and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced CMM and PC-DMIS programming experience, including offline programming from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint interpretation, dimensional inspection, and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of medical-device quality requirements, including ISO 13485, FDA QMSR, and GMP.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and troubleshoot PC-DMIS CMM programs for complex components, including offline programming from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Perform advanced first article, in-process, and final dimensional inspections using blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Analyze inspection results and support improvements in quality, accuracy, and throughput.
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation and support medical-device quality requirements.
• Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor/cross-train other inspectors.
