Job summary

Nektar Therapeutics seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional CMC/pharma development programs. You will coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables across process development, analytical, quality, supply chain, and regulatory teams.

Responsibilities include steering project plans, facilitating meetings, tracking milestones, and driving continuous improvement while mentoring junior staff and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or business.
• 8+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical, medical products or related industry.
• PM certification preferred or demonstrated continuing education in PM.
• Experience managing interdisciplinary or cross-functional projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis requires evaluation of intangibles.
• Exercises independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria.
• Creates formal networks coordinating among groups; may supervise workload and development.
• Interacts with senior internal/external personnel to identify project requirements and objectives.
• Leads cross-functional project teams and manages information flow and status updates.
• Develops and implements processes and systems to meet project requirements and timelines.
