Job summary

Merlin is seeking an experienced Configuration Management professional to define, standardize, and improve CM processes across its Technology organization. You will apply CM practices for identification, baselining, release, and change control across civil and military programs.

This on-site role in Boston requires strong experience with DO-178C/DO-254 release practices, PLM tooling administration, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and program teams to ensure audit-ready data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with experience in configuration management within aerospace/defense.
8+ years executing complex configuration management in aerospace including FAA TIA experience.
Knowledge of ANSI/EIA-649 and civil/military CM frameworks (ARP4754A/AS9100D, MIL-HDBK-61A).
Experience administering CM/PLM tooling for baselining, versioning, and access control.

Responsibilities

Define, standardize, and improve CM processes across Merlin's Technology organization for civil and military programs.
Partner with engineering, program, and process assurance to apply CM practices for identification, baselining, release, and change control.
Refine change control processes including evaluation criteria and Change Control Board structure.
