Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer to lead cloud security and DevSecOps initiatives from Dallas with remote flexibility. You will own vulnerability identification, prioritization, and remediation across AWS, Azure, and related tools, driving risk-based decisions across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure security.
• Deep understanding of Vulnerability Management and Risk Prioritization.
• Experience securing containers, Kubernetes, APIs and cloud-native tech.
• Background working within DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management across AWS, Azure, and CrowdStrike environments.
• Identify, assess, prioritize and drive remediation of vulnerabilities in cloud infra, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to integrate vulnerability management into DevSecOps workflows.
• Analyze findings using cloud security platforms to prioritize remediation by risk and business impact.
• Provide guidance on cloud security controls and secure engineering practices.
• Develop automation for vulnerability reporting, remediation tracking, and security operations.
