Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to own Stargate production releases and helm-based infrastructure in a hands-on, on-site role in Golden, CO.

You will drive reliability, observability, and scalable Kubernetes operations across AWS services and CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, strong Kubernetes and Helm skills, and a track record of achieving 99.99%+ uptime with progressive delivery methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production DevOps/SRE experience.
• Proven Kubernetes administration in production.
• Experience writing and maintaining Helm charts for multi-component apps.
• Hands-on with canary and blue-green deployments.
• Deep Kubernetes infrastructure management: volumes, DNS, load balancers, secrets.
• GitOps workflows with Flux CD.
• Proven uptime 99.99%+ in production.
• Familiarity with Aetherflux for declarative canary orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own Stargate production releases and deployment pipelines with GitOps.
• Drive monitoring, metrics, uptime, and reliability improvements.
• Maintain Helm charts for Stargate and related infra.
• Implement progressive deployment strategies (canary/blue-green).
• Oversee Kubernetes infra, DNS, volumes, and secrets management.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments and AWS services.
• Build observability with OpenTelemetry and alerting.
• Collaborate to enforce operational best practices.
