Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support our Northern Virginia team. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing software systems and services based on requirements analysis, plus evaluating feasibility and maintaining security documentation.

The candidate must have 15+ years’ experience with a technical degree and be proficient in cloud-native architectures, AWS, and SQL, with strong collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ work experience with a technical degree in CS/IT.
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures on AWS, Google, IBM, Oracle.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and creating JupyterHub notebooks.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native architectures using cloud services and big data systems.
• Facilitating engineering discussions across teams to meet mission needs.
• Experience with agile software development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software systems/services solutions based on requirements analysis.
• Perform operational feasibility evaluations and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain system and solution code, architecture, and security documentation.
