Job summary
Verra Mobility in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to lead deployment and operation of cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. You will collaborate with Architecture and Engineering, manage Azure and hybrid environments, and drive automation and security across multi‑site data centers.
The role requires deep Windows Server and Linux knowledge, VMware expertise, and hands-on experience with backup, DR, and monitoring frameworks. Preference for Indy, Mesa, Phoenix, or Chicago offices.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of datacenter, cloud or hybrid experience.
- Certification accreditations in datacenter or cloud domains.
- Strong Windows Server and VMware background.
- Experience with backup, DR, and monitoring frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Implement on premise, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid Azure solutions.
- Lead incident management and multi-site support across time zones.
- Develop automation scripts and frameworks for operations.
- Design secure cloud solutions and ensure SOX/SOC2/ISO compliance.
