Job summary

DV Trading, a Chicago-based financial services group, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to advance Windows, virtualization, and cloud capabilities across multiple offices. You will design, implement, and optimize data-center infrastructure, IAM, and automation, while collaborating with security and IT teams.

The role requires deep Windows and virtualization expertise, strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python), and experience with configuration management tools.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Windows, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience implementing and supporting identity platforms (Azure AD/AD).
• Scripting with PowerShell and Python.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible/Salt/Terraform).
• Experience with endpoint management (Microsoft Endpoint Manager).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain all data centers on the east coast.
• Design, build and maintain Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• Design, build and maintain virtualization and cloud environments.
• Leverage automation for deploying and supporting on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with Security on IAM design and patching/security hardening.
• Review and improve monitoring systems and processes.
