Job summary

You will design components of distributed systems, implement automation, and collaborate across teams. Strong software engineering fundamentals and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of software engineering experience building reliable services, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Programming skills in Java, Go, Rust, C/C++, or Python.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and distributed‑systems fundamentals.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, Linux systems, containers, storage, networking, security, schedulers, control planes, or management planes.
• Ability to design, build, test, and debug reliable software in a large, evolving codebase.
• Strong communication skills, collaboration skills, and an ownership-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and optimize components in distributed systems for scalability.
• Develop fault-tolerant paths with redundancy, replication, and failover.
• Create runbooks and participate in incident response and RCAs.
• Implement automation and IaC for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Build dashboards and telemetry to monitor component health and performance.
• Ensure security controls and compliance in multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate across teams to align on expectations and deliver.
