Job summary

T. Rowe Price is seeking a Cloud Storage Platform Principal to own the architecture, automation, and operational direction for enterprise cloud storage.

You will work across NetApp, Nasuni, and AWS storage services to enable CloudNext and data center exit while mentoring the storage team. The role requires deep hands-on storage experience, strong automation skills, and proven leadership in a regulated, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience plus typically 10+ years in designing, engineering, and operating enterprise storage/cloud infrastructure.
• Deep hands-on expertise with NetApp and AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP, plus NASUNI and AWS native storage services (EFS, EBS, S3, Backup).
• Strong infra automation experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, scripting, APIs and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of cloud storage platforms for CloudNext and data center exit objectives.
• Define enterprise storage patterns across NetApp, AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP, Nasuni, EFS, EBS, S3, and backups.
• Engineer secure, scalable, highly available storage solutions for enterprise workloads.
• Own technical standards for performance, capacity, availability, recoverability, data protection, lifecycle management, and cost efficiency.
• Design and implement automation for provisioning, configuration, policy enforcement, monitoring, and operational support using IaC and Git-based workflows.
• Provide technical leadership for workload discovery, storage assessment, migration planning, data movement, cutover, validation, and decommissioning.
• Guide transition from on-prem to cloud storage while mentoring storage engineers.
