Job summary

Leidos seeks a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Baltimore, Maryland team, supporting CMS CRM modernization in AWS Enclave and Pega Cloud for Government. You design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure and implement SRE practices with SLOs and incident response.

Responsibilities include multi-account VPC interconnectivity, Observability, Disaster Recovery, and CI/CD automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of cloud engineering or SRE experience.
• Experience building highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and configuration management.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available AWS infrastructure within CMS Enclave.
• Architect secure, scalable multi-account VPC interconnectivity to Pega Cloud for Government.
• Support container and serverless architectures (Lambda, Glue) for data and APIs.
• Apply SRE practices with SLOs, error budgets, and reliability metrics.
• Build and maintain observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for production issues.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Design and test Disaster Recovery for cloud workloads (Multi-AZ/Region).
• Coordinate CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for all environments.
