Qualifications

• BS in CS/Engineering or equivalent; 8+ years in SRE or production systems operations.
• Proven reliability improvements via objectives, monitoring and incident prevention.
• Strong Python/Go and maintaining operational tools, automated tests and safe failure handling.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC, version control and CI/CD, including DR environments.
• Kubernetes, Linux, networking and distributed-systems troubleshooting.
• AWS or Azure experience with cross-cloud capability and security.

Responsibilities

• Make production observable with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerts.
• Automate deployments and manage IaC, Kubernetes upgrades and CI/CD.
• Lead incident recovery and disaster recovery engineering with runbooks and testing.
• Improve cloud design, deployment resilience and capacity planning with AI-assisted design.
• Lead FinOps for cost visibility, budgets and optimization priorities.
• Define service-level indicators and objectives; production-readiness reviews.
