Job summary

RedaptInc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Solutions team. You will design, develop, test, and deliver modern applications across public cloud, private cloud, and customer-managed environments.

This role emphasizes building cloud-native and distributed applications with modern APIs, containers, serverless tech, and CI/CD automation, while modernizing existing workloads and ensuring secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years as an Engineer with depth on application and software stack.
• 2+ years delivering automated software workflows including CI/CD and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver modern applications across public/private clouds and customer environments.
• Build cloud-native and distributed apps using APIs, managed services, containers, and serverless tech.
• Migrate and modernize existing workloads to cloud platforms with refactoring and replatforming.
• Develop and maintain front-end, back-end, API, and integration components.
• Automate development, testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning workflows.
• Analyze applications to identify modernization opportunities and implementation strategies.
• Translate requirements into architectures, user stories, and tasks for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, and testing while upholding quality controls.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, troubleshooting, performance, and security reviews.
