Job summary

RapidScale is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to act as a strategic advisor, connecting complex multi-cloud technologies with evolving business needs. You will lead discovery engagements, developing business-aligned solution strategies, and design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures focused on measurable outcomes and business value.

You will maintain deep expertise across RapidScale’s hosted solutions while guiding public cloud engagements and coordinating with specialists to deliver

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in any field with 6+ years of experience, or MS with 4+ years, or PhD with one year, or 10 years overall experience without a degree.
• Professional level public cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Demonstrated experience working in the context of a sales team.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery engagements with customers to uncover business goals, pain points, and drivers.
• Translate requirements into tailored, outcome-focused cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Run workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments, aligning with performance, availability, security, and compliance needs.
• Represent hosted cloud and core offerings in scoping and presentation.
