Job summary

Tencent Americas is seeking a Senior/Principal Solution Architect to lead cloud security and performance initiatives, align engineering, sales, and customers, and drive Tencent Cloud product adoption across strategic opportunities in Palo Alto. You will translate customer needs into concrete solutions and demonstrate value through POC projects and deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS or related field
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Customer-facing experience in IT, Solution Engineer/Architect or similar
• Familiar with cloud security and content delivery technology, security event management
• Knowledge of project management concepts and techniques
• Understanding of web development, IT systems or security practices
• Strong understanding of internet, IP, DNS, HTTP, TCP and web architecture
• Willingness to travel ~10%

Responsibilities

• Drive Tencent Cloud product adoption and identify customer needs
• Guide, train, and enable internal teams and external partners
• Track, monitor, and resolve customer issues with security and performance products
• Collaborate with global teams on international initiatives
• Plan and organize programs across multiple technical teams and geo locations
• Create clarity in requirements and design features to meet business goals
• Identify and mitigate risks from dependencies between groups
• Work with engineering to implement new tools supporting processes
