Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define secure, scalable architectures for financial services platforms operating within a FedRAMP High government cloud environment. You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, compliance, and business stakeholders to modernize platforms and deliver secure cloud-native solutions.

This REMOTE role is open to applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture roles.
• Strong experience designing solutions within regulated financial services environments.
• Expertise with Azure Government and cloud-native architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise application platforms such as .NET or Java.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, secure SDLC, IAM, and cloud security frameworks.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and scalability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native, highly available, and secure architectures for financial services platforms.
• Define enterprise architecture standards for APIs, microservices, events, data management, and security controls.
• Partner with cybersecurity and DevSecOps to align with FedRAMP High and related controls.
• Review and govern designs for scalability, resiliency, performance, and_OPERATIONAL readiness.
• Lead architecture modernization efforts and provide guidance on technical strategy and production support.
