Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to support the EdTech SA team in the San Francisco area.

You will own technical engagements, define architectures, and respond to RFPs while guiding customers on AWS cloud solutions and security best practices. You will work with a world class sales and business development team, sharing knowledge within the AWS solution architect community and contributing to the success of enterprise customers across public sector

Qualifications

• 2+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience in cloud computing and software development

Responsibilities

• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies as well as architectures for customer solutions.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
