CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to act as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and deliver measurable business value across complex cloud initiatives.
You will guide solution lifecycle activities, collaborate with delivery teams and vendors, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards while driving adoption and long-term supportability.
Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise technology initiatives from discovery to implementation.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Advanced understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, and security concepts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technical advisor to business stakeholders for technology opportunities.
- Lead solution discovery, requirements gathering, and business case development.
- Develop implementation roadmaps and delivery plans for cloud and application initiatives.
- Guide engagements from concept through deployment and operational transition.
- Collaborate with vendors, delivery teams, and the Cloud Center of Excellence to align with enterprise standards.
