Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to partner with business stakeholders and guide cloud initiatives from discovery to deployment. You will lead client engagements, translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions, and mentor delivery teams across projects.

You will leverage Azure and AWS expertise, align solutions with enterprise standards, manage risks, and drive measurable business outcomes while working with the Cloud Center of Excellence and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years related experience preferred.
• Experience in Azure and hybrid cloud environments desired.
• Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, solution discovery, and requirements gathering.
• Develop solution strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans for cloud initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership to Architects, Engineers, and delivery teams.
• Evaluate options based on business value, cost, risk, and long-term supportability.
• Collaborate with Cloud Center of Excellence and vendors to ensure standards.
