Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of our multi-cloud platform on AWS and GCP. You will collaborate with architecture, security, networking, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.

This senior role requires deep AWS and GCP expertise, hands-on Kubernetes experience, and the ability to mentor engineers across globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT with AWS architecture experience.
• Expertise in AWS security, governance, and cost management.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms (EKS/ECS/GKE).
• GCP experience incl. IAM, Shared VPCs, networking.
• Experience with AI/ML cloud platforms.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional; GCP Cloud Architect desirable.
• Strong communication and mentoring in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Hitachi Vantara's multi-cloud platform on AWS and GCP.
• Partner with security, networking, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Own core cloud services and multi-cloud networking, DR architecture.
• Mentor engineers and architects to raise technical excellence.
• Enable AI/ML initiatives by designing cloud environments for training and inference.
