Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer Skill Level 2 in Annapolis, MD to design, develop, deploy, and sustain resilient cloud-native applications and infrastructure supporting mission-critical environments.

This role spans cloud architecture, microservices, containers, data pipelines, automated testing, and CI/CD, with collaboration across data architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions for federal government contracts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• 5+ years of directly related software engineering or cloud-development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Master’s degree may be considered equivalent to four years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Solid understanding of web-application frameworks and microservice architectures.
• Proven experience building and managing data-processing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain resilient cloud-native applications and infrastructure for mission-critical environments.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Create interactive data-driven dashboards and visualizations using modern frontend frameworks.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies; monitor performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with data architects, DevOps, engineers, and product managers to align solutions.
