Job summary

Zions Bancorporation's Enterprise Technology and Operations (ETO) team is transforming how we work at a financial institution. The Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure and containerized systems, while implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery and deployment.

The role requires Linux administration, Kubernetes clusters, and strong scripting with Python/Java and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, support, or related areas for web sites and apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud-based infrastructure and containerized systems.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment.
• Administer and support Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, and core networking components.
• Develop solutions using Python, Java, and RESTful APIs.
• Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Monitor performance and ensure platform stability, including firewalls, F5, and DNS.
