Halogen Engineering Group, Inc is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer with 12+ years of software engineering experience in AWS/DevOps to develop, maintain, and enhance complex Big-Data cloud systems based on documented requirements. This role requires a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance and is located onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience in large-scale cloud/data environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; four years of which must be in programs utilizing Big-Data cloud technologies and/or Distributed Computing.
Cloud-related experiences required: Cloud and/or Distributed Computing IR, Cloud Big Table, Cloud Distributed File System, MapReduce analytics, Cloud Distributed Coordination Frameworks, Cloud computing solutions.
Experience in Computer Networks Operations, including virtualization and cloud computing; strong UNIX/Linux background.
Experience in Information Assurance, secure cloud-based applications, and enterprise authentication services.
Proficiency in object-oriented design and Java development; RESTful web services; knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, HBase, Zookeeper, MapReduce).
