Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The team supports three specialized analyst tools used across national security analysts and partners, handling design, development, testing, documentation, customer engagement, and maintenance.

You will work across the full stack with Java (Kotlin a plus), JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/HTML, and React in a Linux environment, using IntelliJ, VSCode, and vim. Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of directly related experience.
• Full stack proficiency with Java; Kotlin is a plus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/HTML, and React.
• Strong Linux and Git workflow with familiarity of IDEs like IntelliJ/VSCode/vim.
• One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CKAD, Elastic Certified Engineer.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software lifecycle across the stack—from design and development to testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with customers and a small team to deliver solutions.
• Develop primarily in Java (Kotlin a plus) within a Linux desktop environment.
