Job summary

Tines in the United States is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to drive security projects, automate detection and response, and scale our security program. You’ll report to the Security Operations Manager and build new initiatives from the ground up.

You bring 6–8+ years in cloud security, strong English, and hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and security tooling. This role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in a security role managing complex cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Deep familiarity with cloud security in AWS or Azure.
• Experience securing containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and related tooling.
• Experience implementing SOC2, ISO, CMMC, and FedRamp controls.
• Automating security tasks with SOAR tools; Python/Go experience.
• Linux/macOS hardening knowledge and on-call rotation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Drive security projects that protect customers, brand, and employees.
• Review security trends and incidents; implement controls from lessons learned.
• Perform security reviews of infrastructure and product features.
• Update policies to maintain high security standards at Tines.
• Scale detection and response across environments and systems.
• Lead vulnerability remediation with engineering and security teams.
• Provide security training and keep staff updated on threats.
• Escalate automated detections for human review.
• Hunt for threats across our environment.
• Participate in regular on-call duties including incident commander.
• Ensure security controls are deployed and tested in cloud and endpoints.
• Automate security tasks where possible using Tines.
