Job summary

Island is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to own incident response, cloud security posture, vulnerability management, and FedRAMP compliance across US environments. You will partner with the global SecOps Lead to drive day-to-day security operations and strategic improvements.

The role is based in Dallas, TX, requires 5+ years in security operations, and hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations.
• Proven incident responder - leading triage and post-mortems.
• Solid AWS knowledge; GCP/Azure experience a plus; CSPM with Wiz preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead US-timezone incident response, including triage, containment, investigation, and post-incident reviews.
• Manage and improve cloud security posture across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including remediation of Wiz findings.
• Own vulnerability management across web, infrastructure, and container environments with prioritization and reporting.
• Drive FedRAMP continuous monitoring for GovCloud with evidence collection and POA&M tracking.
• Partner with the global SecOps Lead on strategy, tooling, and security improvements.
