Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Senior Manager for Cloud Security to lead strategy, delivery, and maturation of cybersecurity capabilities across our cloud environments. You will define architecture standards, enable DevSecOps, and drive automation and governance in collaboration with Global Security, IT Cloud, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include building scalable cloud security roadmaps, leading threat modeling, establishing policy-as-code, and maturing CNAPP technologies to validate controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, or Cloud Security leadership.
• CISSP/CCSP or cloud certification preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud concepts, architectures, and shared responsibility models.
• Knowledge of risk management, identity governance, and access controls.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC, automation, and policy-as-code.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable security operating models.
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security strategy, roadmap, and capability maturity across cloud platforms.
• Define architecture direction, landing zones, and reference designs for secure adoption.
• Establish policy-as-code, automated security controls, and CI/CD security practices.
• Lead threat modeling, risk reviews, and executive risk discussions for cloud apps and services.
• Direct CNAPP implementations and maturity, prioritize risk, and drive remediation.
• Manage security programs through design, implementation, transition, and realized benefits.
