Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Security to drive enterprise-scale remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will partner with engineering, identity, privacy, and compliance teams to strengthen controls and reduce risk, delivering secure cloud deployments and ongoing maturity.

You will lead, innovate, and optimize cloud security workflows, with a focus on automation, policy-as-code, and scalable remediation in a global, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Six+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least four years focused on cloud security.
• Two+ years leading teams or serving as a technical lead in cloud security or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience remediating enterprise-scale cloud security control deficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking security, including private endpoints, hub-and-spoke architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of cloud identity, least-privilege access models, and privileged access management.
• Experience with cloud security automation, policy-enforcement tools, and cloud security monitoring solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable scripting language.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting metrics to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cloud security remediation initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring critical findings are addressed within SLAs.
• Reduce public cloud exposure through private endpoints, private links, secure network architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
• Develop and maintain policy-as-code frameworks, reusable security templates, and automation for secure deployments and compliance.
• Oversee the cloud security remediation lifecycle using monitoring platforms and risk-based prioritization.
• Collaborate with engineering, identity, privacy, and compliance teams to integrate cloud security controls into development and operations.
