Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Security to lead enterprise-scale remediation across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will collaborate with engineering, identity, privacy, and compliance teams to strengthen controls, reduce risk, and apply policy-as-code and automation.

This remote US role emphasizes secure network architectures and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive security improvements, mentor teams, and report metrics to leadership while upholding Cognizant's core

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years cybersecurity experience including at least 4 years in cloud security.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in cloud security.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience remediating enterprise-scale cloud security control deficiencies.
• Strong cloud networking security knowledge: private endpoints, hub-and-spoke architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of identity, least-privilege access, and privileged access management.
• Experience with cloud security automation and monitoring solutions.
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present metrics to leadership.
• Ownership mindset and commitment to meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cloud security remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP within SLAs.
• Reduce public cloud exposure using private endpoints, private links, secure architectures.
• Develop policy-as-code frameworks and automation for secure deployments.
• Oversee remediation lifecycle using monitoring platforms and risk-based prioritization.
• Collaborate with engineering, identity, privacy, compliance, and other teams to integrate cloud security into dev and operations.
