Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Security to lead enterprise remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP. The role collaborates with engineering, privacy, compliance, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and reduce risk.

You will drive automation, security templates, and policy enforcement while guiding teams through remediation lifecycles and development integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Six+ years in cybersecurity, including 4+ years in cloud security.
• 2+ years leading teams or as technical lead in cloud security.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Remediation of enterprise-scale cloud security deficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking security (private endpoints, hub-and-spoke, hybrid).
• Knowledge of identity, least-privilege access, and privileged access management.
• Experience with cloud security automation and monitoring solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting language.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present metrics to leadership.
• Ownership mindset and customer/community impact focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cloud security remediation across Azure, AWS, and GCP within SLAs.
• Reduce public cloud exposure using private endpoints, private links, secure architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
• Develop policy-as-code frameworks, reusable security templates, and automation for secure deployments and compliance.
• Oversee remediation lifecycle with monitoring platforms and risk-based prioritization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud security into development and operations workflows.
