Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Technology and Data Engineer 5 for a hybrid 6-month contract. You will design and implement IaC rules, integrate Wiz DevSecOps tooling, and collaborate with platform teams to secure cloud deployments.

Ideal candidates have extensive AppSec/DevSecOps experience, Terraform, Kubernetes, and policy-as-code skills, with strong CI/CD experience and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Engineering experience or equivalent
• 8+ years in AppSec, Cloud Security or DevSecOps with hands-on Terraform and Kubernetes security experience
• Policy as Code skills using OPA/Rego
• Strong CI/CD knowledge and Git workflow
• Excellent communication with development teams

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune custom IaC rules in Rego/OPA to extend security coverage
• Build automated regression tests using Terraform plans and Kubernetes manifests
• Perform pipeline health checks and investigate failed security scans
• Monitor platform availability and scanning effectiveness
• Publish security artifacts for traceability and compliance reporting
