Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a security engineer to strengthen our infrastructure, cloud, and application security. You will review designs, implement security controls, and automate security tasks across Kubernetes, cloud environments, and on‑premises systems.

This role emphasizes hands‑on tooling, documentation, and collaboration with auditors to meet security requirements. The candidate should have 4+ years in security engineering, experience with Terraform, scripting, and a mix of network and web

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in a cloud and on‑premises environment.
• Experience with security systems including firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti‑virus, authentication, log management, and content filtering.

Responsibilities

• Review system design and implementations to assess security posture and recommend architectural improvements.
• Develop automation to integrate systems and ensure coverage of the security agent suite across platforms.
• Write documentation including security policies and procedures for networks, containers, and cloud.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud environments, and container platforms.
• Support audits and external requirements by assisting customers and vendors with security needs.
• Improve network protection, access control, and security education and awareness.
