Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a security engineer to strengthen infrastructure, application and cloud security across multiple teams. You will review designs, implement security controls, and contribute to audits while advancing automation using Python and scripting.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and security tooling, with travel minimal and a strong commitment to safeguarding enterprise systems and data at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering with emphasis on infrastructure, application, and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Scripting/automation proficiency (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in Cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS, log management, authentication systems, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and related protocols.
• Travel within the US may be required on an irregular basis (minimal travel).
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Cannot sponsor employment visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Review system designs to assess security posture and advise architecture improvements.
• Develop automation to integrate various security systems.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud environments, and containers.
• Support audits from customers and vendors and ensure compliance.
• Enhance network protection, access control, and security education and awareness programs.
