Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an Engineer, Cloud Security to drive continuous improvement of our cloud security. You will design, deploy, and oversee the management of group-wide security solutions and align with our Information Security and Compliance roadmap.

You will collaborate with technology partners to select, implement, and integrate security tools in AWS and Azure, strengthen security posture, and support governance, risk, and compliance efforts across Navitus

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of information security experience.
• Experience in incident response, cloud architectures, tuning in SaaS.
• Strong understanding of application architectures and security.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages.
• Provide security training and awareness to developers.
• Document security policies and procedures.
• Certification in information security preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy practices preferred.
• Experience with AWS WAF, CDK, threat modeling.
• Experience with APIs and DevSec practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and oversee management of cloud security solutions.
• Lead security programs and projects across Navitus.
• Develop DevSec practices in SDLC.
• Use tooling to detect, remediate, enforce security in AWS/Azure.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud apps and APIs.
• Maintain security posture and monitoring controls.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Triage security issues via ticketing system.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
