Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Engineer, Cloud Security to drive continuous improvement of our cloud security posture. You will design, deploy, and manage group-wide security solutions and align with the company's security roadmap across AWS and Azure.

The role partners with technology teams to guide secure coding, DevSec practices, incident response, and risk reduction, ensuring reliable service delivery and enterprise protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, business, healthcare or security field.
• 7–10 years information security design, deployment, monitoring and evaluation experience.
• SaaS environment incident response and cloud architecture experience.
• Strong understanding of application architectures and security.
• Programming or scripting proficiency.
• Provide security training to developers and staff.
• Security certifications preferred (e.g., AZ-900, CISSP, CISM).
• Experience with AWS WAF, CDK, threat modeling methodologies.
• HIPAA/data privacy knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud security solutions enterprise-wide.
• Improve security policies; patch vulnerabilities in apps and infra.
• Develop DevSec practices for SDLC integration.
• Monitor AWS and Azure to enforce security standards.
• Assess cloud applications and APIs for security.
• Develop cloud API security and monitoring controls.
• Analyze logs; triage issues using a ticketing system.
• Document processes and deployments.
• Tune cloud security solutions and maintain a defined security posture.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
