Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks an Engineer, Cloud Security to drive security across cloud environments. You will design, deploy, and oversee group‑wide security solutions and advance the information security roadmap.

You will partner with technology teams to select and implement security tools, guide architecture, and minimize cyber risk while ensuring compliance across Navitus stakeholders.

Qualifications

• What our team expects: 4-year degree in CS, Business, Healthcare or tech/security
• 7–10 years in information security design, deployment, and monitoring
• Experience with SaaS security, incident response, cloud architectures
• Strong understanding of application security and secure coding
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages
• Ability to train developers on security practices
• Document security policies and participate in evaluations
• Hands-on automation and DevOps skills
• Security certs (AZ-900, CISSP, CISM) or equivalent experience preferred
• Risk analysis, HIPAA knowledge and healthcare privacy practices a plus
• Experience with AWS WAF, CDK, threat modeling
• Experience with APIs and DevSec

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage group-wide security solutions
• Lead security programs and projects; perform risk assessments
• Develop DevSec practices to integrate security into SDLC
• Use tools to enforce security in AWS and Azure environments
• Conduct security assessments of cloud apps and APIs
• Develop cloud API security and monitoring controls
• Triages issues using ticketing systems and maintains docs
• Engineer and tune cloud security posture and monitoring
