Job summary

Navitus is hiring an Engineer, Cloud Security to design, deploy, and oversee security solutions across the organization. You will work with technology partners to implement governance, risk, and compliance measures supporting Navitus’ information security roadmap.

The role emphasizes cloud security, DevSec practices, and threat modeling in AWS and Azure environments, with focus on limiting cyber threats while enabling secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–10 years of information security experience.
• Experience in incident response and cloud architectures in SaaS.
• Strong understanding of application architectures and secure coding practices.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages.
• Security certifications (Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• HIPAA and healthcare data privacy knowledge a plus.
• Experience with AWS WAF, CDK, threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and oversee cloud security solutions across Navitus.
• Analyze and patch vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
• Develop DevSec practices to integrate security into the SDLC.
• Guide selection and integration of security solutions with partners.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud applications and APIs.
• Maintain security documentation and monitoring controls.
