Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Engineer, Cloud Security to design, deploy, and oversee enterprise security solutions across our cloud environment. You will guide selection and integration of security tools, influence the security roadmap, and drive governance, risk, and compliance activities to protect information resources.

You will lead DevSec-influenced SDLC, automate controls, monitor cloud security posture, and collaborate with technology partners to minimize cyber threats while supporting Navitus

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare or other technology/security discipline
• 7–10 years of information security experience in designing, deploying, and evaluating cybersecurity
• Experience in incident response, cloud architectures, tuning in SaaS environments
• Strong understanding of application architectures and security
• Knowledge of securing code and best practices
• Programming or scripting proficiency
• Security training for developers and employees
• Document security policies and procedures
• Participation in proofs of concept and evaluations with recommendations
• Hands-on automation, DevOps skills
• Certificate in information security preferred
• Risk analysis experience a plus including healthcare data privacy

Responsibilities

• Possess expertise in scripting controls, automating processes, managing AWS WAF rules, and CDK nag rules for preventive controls
• Analyze and improve security policies, patch vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure, lead security programs
• Develop and implement DevSec practices to integrate security into SDLC
• Use software to detect, remediate, enforce security standards in AWS and Azure
• Conduct security assessments of cloud applications and APIs
• Develop cloud API, Cloud Application Security and monitoring controls
• Analyze log files and triage issues via ticketing system
• Create and maintain deployment documentation
• Engineer and tune cloud security solutions and posture
• Other duties as assigned
