Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help strengthen security across the organization.

You will work with multiple teams to align security controls, review designs for threat modeling, and develop automation in Python to integrate security tools across on-prem and cloud environments. The role requires hands-on Kubernetes and cloud security expertise, scripting proficiency, and the ability to contribute to audits and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform).
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments with excellent communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote strong security controls across teams and participate in architectural reviews.
• Review system design and implementations to assess security posture and provide recommendations.
• Develop automation using Python and other tools to integrate systems.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud environments.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001).
• Support external audits from customers and vendors.
• Participate in on-call roster, including after-hours.
