Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is expanding its security team and seeking an Engineer, Cloud Security to design, deploy, and oversee cloud security solutions across the organization. You will work with technology partners to guide tool selection, implementation, and integration while maintaining a strong security posture.

You will drive DevSec practices within the software lifecycle, analyze policies, patch vulnerabilities, and lead key security programs in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare or related tech/security field
• 10+ years of information security experience in designing, deploying, managing and evaluating cybersecurity
• Experience with cloud architectures, incident response, and SaaS environments
• Knowledge of securing code and best practices; scripting ability
• Familiarity with security tools and frameworks like AWS WAF, CDK, threat modeling
• Ability to develop DevSec practices and integrate security into SDLC
• Experience in risk analysis, HIPAA data privacy is a plus
• Security certifications (Azure Fundamentals/AZ-900, CISSP, CISM) preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage group-wide cloud security solutions
• Guide selection, implementation, and integration of security tools in AWS and Azure
• Develop DevSec practices to embed security in the SDLC
• Analyze security policies and patch vulnerabilities in apps and infrastructure
• Lead security programs and projects with enterprise impact
• Create and maintain process and deployment documentation
• Monitor security posture and respond to incidents and threats
• Support governance, risk, and compliance activities across the organization
• Collaborate with technology partners to minimize cyber risk
• Perform log analysis and issue triage via ticketing system
