F5, Inc. is seeking a Sr.Security Engineer to build, operate, and maintain robust security monitoring and auditing systems for the Distributed Cloud platform.

You will work with cross-functional teams to identify events to monitor, audits to maintain, and alerts to tune. The role requires US Citizenship and 8+ years in security operations, with hands-on experience across logging, SIEM, and cloud-native security, and experience with Kubernetes.

Formación

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of security operation and monitoring experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in logging, monitoring, SIEM, and alerting tools.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with architects, security defenders, and operations to define monitoring and audit requirements.
• Continuously enhance visibility, incident response, availability, and forensics across the platform.
• Lead vulnerability management and DevSecOps initiatives.
• Contribute to incident response planning and post-incident information sharing.
