Job summary

Navitus is expanding its Cloud Security team in Nashville. The Engineer, Cloud Security will design and manage group-wide security solutions, guiding implementation and integration with AWS and Azure platforms.

You will lead DevSec adoption and risk mitigation while aligning with Navitus' compliance roadmap and governance programs. The role requires 7–10 years in information security, strong scripting skills, and experience with security tooling such as AWS WAF and CDK.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of information security experience in SaaS environments.
• Experience in incident response, cloud architectures, tuning and monitoring.
• Proficient in programming or scripting languages.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy practices is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred; Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 also acceptable.
• Experience with security tools like AWS WAF, CDK, threat modeling, and DevSec.
• Ability to train developers on security and document policies and procedures.
• Comfort with risk analysis and adherence to compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and oversee group-wide security solutions for Navitus cloud.
• Drive DevSec practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze policies, patch vulnerabilities, and lead security programs.
• Enforce security standards in AWS and Azure environments.
• Assess cloud applications and APIs; monitor and alert security postures.
• Create documentation for processes and deployments; support governance and compliance.
