Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Engineer, Cloud Security to drive continuous improvement of our cloud security program. You will design, deploy, and oversee management of security solutions and coordinate with technology partners to implement the security roadmap.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in information security, strong cloud security architecture skills, and experience with AWS WAF, CDK, and DevSec practices. This role supports remote work from the United States.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare or other technology/security discipline.
• 7–10 years of information security experience in designing, deploying, managing, monitoring, and evaluating advanced cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and oversee group-wide security solutions and governance, risk and compliance activities.
• Analyze and patch vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure; lead security programs and projects.
• Develop and implement DevSec practices to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor cloud security posture across AWS and Azure, detect and remediate threats, and enforce security standards.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud applications and APIs; participate in security monitoring controls for reliable service delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and deployments; triage issues using ticketing systems.
• Engineer and tune cloud security solutions, including enrollment, monitoring, alerting, and ongoing posture management.
• Collaborate with technology partners on selection and integration of security tools.
