Zusammenfassung

Velocitor Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the day-to-day security posture of the IT platform and application stack. You will drive vulnerability management, lead penetration testing, and harden Azure and AKS environments while tightening identity controls across the organization.

You will collaborate with platform, DevOps, engineering, and client teams to translate findings into fixes and remediation plans.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor Degree or extensive IT security experience (8–10+ years).
• 8+ years in security analysis, app security, or cloud security with at least 2 years in senior/lead roles.
• Hands-on Azure security experience: Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, network security, key management.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container security (AKS).
• IAM expertise: RBAC, privileged access, modern auth patterns (OAuth, OIDC, SSO).
• Experience in compliance programs (SOC 2, GDPR) and audit coordination.
• Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Strong cross-team coordination and client-facing communication.

Aufgaben

• Own vulnerability management across Azure, AKS, on-prem and client apps.
• Lead penetration testing engagements and coordinate with internal/third-party testers.
• Harden identity stack with Entra ID and Auth0; enforce least-privilege access.
• Secure AKS and CI/CD pipelines; review images, configs, secrets, network policy.
• Build/run security runbooks, incident response procedures, and detection logic.
• Participate in security-on-call and lead incident response when needed.
• Ensure SOC 2 and GDPR readiness; coordinate audits and remediate findings.
• Coordinate client security requirements and questionnaire responses; lead RCAs.
