Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design and build secure Azure cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines from the ground up. You will work on a multi-year transformation of core finance systems, delivering secure-by-design infrastructure and automation in a highly regulated environment.

The role emphasizes Azure security, IaC, and end-to-end deployment of containerized apps on AKS, with ongoing modernization and platform improvements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud infra, or platform engineering experience.
• Strong Azure expertise across infra, security, networking, containers, and monitoring.
• Experience building secure Azure platforms and delivery pipelines from scratch.
• Deep DevSecOps experience with CI/CD design, automation, and security controls.
• IaC experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, and Bicep.
• Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Shell, or SQL.
• Azure security practices: RBAC, identity management, Key Vault, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate secure-by-design Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD and delivery pipelines with integrated security controls.
• Support a large, multi-year finance modernization initiative rebuilding core financial systems.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and OpenTofu.
• Build and support AKS environments, deployments, and containerized applications.
• Implement monitoring, observability, logging, and operational readiness practices.
• Support solutions after deployment while continuously improving platform capabilities.
