Job summary

Glocomms is partnered with a leading proprietary trading firm to hire a Cloud Security Engineer. The role focuses on securing and scaling a high-availability cloud environment across AWS and multi-cloud platforms, partnering with infrastructure, platform, development, and security teams to embed security into design, deployment, and operations of cloud-native tech.

The ideal candidate will have deep cloud security architecture expertise, Kubernetes security, automation skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Experience securing AWS environments; Azure/GCP exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container security, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security controls across AWS and multi-cloud environments.
• Perform cloud architecture and security reviews for secure design and migrations.
• Secure Kubernetes workloads with RBAC, workload identity, network policies and secrets management.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and policy as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Lead vulnerability management activities including assessments and remediation planning.
• Support security operations and incident response, including threat analysis and root cause investigations.
