Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to advance security across multi-cloud platforms.

You will drive DevOps security, design automated security workflows, and lead end-to-end cloud security implementations with a focus on scalable architectures and resilient operations. The role requires strong coding skills in Java/Python/Go, expertise with AWS and IaC, and experience in threat modeling and CVE remediation within an Agile SDLC.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Security Engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Advanced hands-on coding experience in Java or Python/Go and Terraform.
• Proficient in Networking, IaC, Public Cloud architecture, and Cloud Security.
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability testing, and triage in Agile SDLC.
• Experience with WAF technologies like AWS WAF, Akamai, Cloudflare, or similar.
• Ability to review AI-assisted code/security recommendations for safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Clarify security requirements for multiple networks to enable multi-level security and secure traffic.
• Deploy and manage Cloud Network Security Platforms with a DevOps security model.
• Lead cloud security implementations, automation, architecture design, and monitoring.
• Ensure quality of engineering deliverables and compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risk and respond to threats and disruptions.
• Apply AI-assisted practices in SDLC to strengthen security testing and traceability.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate threat modeling and validation.
