Job summary

Kiteworks is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead cloud security in a global security and compliance team. You will report to the Global IT CISO and own cloud security strategies, vulnerability management, and incident detection for AWS-based environments.

The role includes security reviews of AI projects, assisting audits, and guiding internal IT teams on security best practices. This hybrid position requires three days per week in the Portsmouth office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a security engineer.
• Experience with a cloud-based infrastructure in AWS & containers.
• Experience with AWS security best practices and security products.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Security initiatives across the organization.
• Maintain and improve Orca Security implementation.
• Manage vulnerability and misconfiguration processes.
• Implement threat prevention, detection and response.
• Enhance the SIEM and assist during security incidents.
• Conduct security reviews of AI projects and internal IT projects.
