Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Senior Security Architect to lead secure cloud architecture across public, private and hybrid clouds. The role requires deep knowledge of cloud security, capabilities to design resilient applications, and mentorship for junior staff.

Reporting to security leadership, you will guide security enablement across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, collaborate with IT and development leaders, and ensure alignment with NIST/CMMC guidelines to protect the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable secure cloud architectures for public, private and hybrid environments.
• Lead security architecture design with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
• Provide guidance on secure design, build, testing and deployment across cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture (EA) to review architecture plans.
• Mentor junior team members and guide project leads on security issues.
• Draft cybersecurity strategies aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST).
