Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead secure cloud architecture across public, private and hybrid environments. You will design and implement scalable solutions, mentor junior staff and align security initiatives with business objectives.

You will collaborate with Cloud Center of Excellence, Enterprise Architecture and IT leadership to ensure compliant, resilient deployments across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS while guiding incident response and risk mitigation in a fast-paced setting.

• Extensive IT, cloud and cybersecurity experience required.
• Experience with Azure, AWS and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architect and articulate a scalable and resilient vision for secure public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Advise Cloud team and Cloud Center of Excellence on secure deployments and configurations.
• Review architecture plans and partner with Enterprise Architecture group.
• Lead security architecture design with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
• Provide guidance on secure design, build, testing and deployment across cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security, architecture and engineering leadership to support business objectives.
• Identify and enforce enterprise standards to support secure, resilient and compliant solutions.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for incident response and risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge with technical leads.
• Create architecture policies aligning with cybersecurity and resiliency best practices.
• Draft cybersecurity strategies aligned with regulations (CMMC, NIST).
• Design security for monitoring, IAM, encryption and data protection.
